The Flagler County Chamber of Commerce is seeking 10 current high school sophomores to join its second-annual Youth Leadership Program, according to a chamber news release.
The one-day-a-month program will teach students about leadership, business history, economic development, government operations, environmental responsibility, tourism and arts, and culture and leisure. It will begin in September and end April 2015.
Students attending public, private, virtual and charter schools are all eligible to apply, as are home-schooled students.
Applications can be picked up at the guidance offices of Flagler Palm Coast High School and Matanzas High School, at the Flagler County Chamber, 20 Airport Road, in Palm Coast, or online here. They must be submitted by March 14.
