Three cars were broken into at the Platinum Health, Fitness & Yoga parking lot Jan. 16, according to the Ormond Beach Police Department.

An incident report stated that one victim, Elizabeth Keys, had a Tory Burch purse stolen from her 2007 Mercedes at the personal training gym, located off North U.S. 1. The passenger-side window was broken out.

Police say they have obtained surveillance footage from Lou’s Plumbing nearby and saw a black, newer-model, four-door car, possibly a Nissan or Toyota, exiting the parking lot.

Keys stated that she observed a black Nissan Altima in the parking lot when she first arrived to Platinum Health. Keys took to social media to express her frustration with the break-in.

“Warning to friends and family. They are hitting the Ormond area," she wrote on her personal page. "They got me this morning at the gym."

Anyone with information on the break-ins is encouraged to call the Ormond Beach Police Department, at 677-0731.
