Twenty local children now have new bikes and helmets thanks to King of Kings Faith Christian Center in Bunnell.

Church members gave above and beyond their normal tithing to raise enough money to buy bikes for kids in the community. In addition, Toys for Tots donated several little toy bikes and scooters for the smaller children.

Pastor Michael Ellison said he's very proud of the church members for their generosity. The bikes were presented to some of the children on Monday, Dec. 18, at the church's location, 4601 E. Moody Blvd., Unit I-5, Bunnell.

"They did a phenomenal job," he said. "I asked for 10 bikes, but we ended up with 20."
