The cold temperatures did not stop the community from enjoying the festival.
Temperatures dropped on Saturday, but Palm Coast was flying high. Once again, Freedom Fest brought the community together for a day of live music and airplanes to celebrate America.
The free event included over 30 warbirds on runways, where all ages came to get a closer look.
Orlen Morales had the chance to take a ride over the city in a biplane for the first time. "It was a little scary, but I liked it," he said.
The event, sponsored by Beach 92.7, collected funds to benefits the Paws of War, Flagler Education and other local charities.
Margaret Reiter came with her family. "We love planes!" she said. "This a great family event, and we love to support the military organizations."
