Special t-shirts and honorary Park Ranger status for Cameron Fulling

School pride at its finest, students helping seniors, and two non-profits reel in donations.

Cameron Fulling is a well-known Bunnell Elementary School student who has been fighting a brain tumor. The staff at Bunnell wanted to help the family because they were going to try an alternative method for Cameron because he has done everything else.

Special “Team Cameron” t-shirts were made to show Cameron and his family how much his school supports them. The staff and teachers purchased the shirts and the students could donate to “No collar for a dollar.” By donating a dollar the students could wear a regular shirt instead of their school dress code polo shirts.

The school has raised $1,750 with t-shirts and donations from staff and bus drivers. Melanie Hayes and the staff at FTI donated enough money to cover the cost of the first order of t-shirts, and UNamIt gave the school a discount.

Sharing their knowledge

Seven students from the i3 New Tech Academy at Flagler Palm Coast High school, helped members of the Grand Haven Women’s Club with their technology questions. The students helped with security questions, gave tips on how to maximize the storage of files, and ways to use apps for everyday needs.

Flagler Sportfishing fundraiser donations

The Flagler Sportfishing Club presented 4,500 each, to GratutideAmerica and Family Life Center at the Jan. 3 meeting. Each year Flagler Sportfishing Club hosts The Annual Spring Classic Invitational Tournament and The Annual Fall Classic Invitational Tournament. Proceeds from these Tournaments are awarded to local organizations that support the needs of their communities.

In 2016, the board selected the Family Life Center in Bunnell as its beneficiary for The Annual Spring Classic Tournament; and GratitudeAmerica in Marineland as its beneficiary for The Annual Fall Classic Tournament.
