Heat Severity Charity donates cooling tubs to FPC, Pop Warner
Zach Polsenberg’s Heat Severity Charity donated cooling tubs to Flagler Palm Coast High School, so they can have it set up at practices and games. The charity also donated a tub to Pop Warner and Wadsworth Elementary School.
The charity was started a few years ago, after James Polsenberg's son Zach died after suffering a heat stroke at football practice in 2017.
"Our goal is to keep our student athletes safe," Claudine Poslenberg, James' wife, wrote in an email, "and the way to do this is education and providing schools and athlete programs with the proper equipment to treat heat illnesses!"
