The Florida Hospital Flagler’s Pink Army is raising awareness on the importance of annual mammograms by raising the Pink Army flag around Flagler County. Over the month of October, 21 local restaurants will proudly raise the flag, along with many of the Flagler County public schools and the Government Service Building in Bunnell. On Friday, Oct. 2, the Flagler Beach Fire Department, Flagler Beach Mayor Linda Provencher and City Commissioner Jane Mealy, raised the Pink Army Flag at Veterans Park during the annual First Friday event.
