The Philippine American Association of Palm Coast rang in Philippine Independence Day with a colorful party on Saturday, June 15.
Guests were entertained as PAAPC members performed traditional Philippine folk dances, including "Tinikling," which the PAAPC youth brought to life.
The festivities commemorated the 121st anniversary of Philippine independence as a sovereign nation from the rule of Spain. The celebration at the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 8696 was an evening of nonstop dancing for the PAAPC, which was established in locally 27 years ago.
Palm Coast City Councilman Robert Cuff read a proclamation where he mentioned the undoubtable cultural impact the PAAPC has had on Palm Coast, with over 150 families involved in the association.
