Former Palm Coast resident Reilly Opelka won his first-ever mens' match at Wimbledon on Monday, July 1.
Opelka, who rose to No. 52 in the rankings earlier this year, defeated Cedrik-Marcel Steve, of Germany, on Monday morning. He won in straight sets, 6-3, 7-6 and 6-1. Opelka recorded 11 aces and won 78% of his first-serve points.
