- Flagler Palm Coast's boys cross country team won the Five Star Conference the morning of Saturday, Oct. 19, in Port Orange. Alex Barneski (17:02.47), Jason Chum (17:11.72) and Connor Reckenwald (17:18.72) placed third, sixth and eighth, respectively. Allen Roberson, since recovered from cancer, had a breakthrough race, running a 28:40.
- FPC cross country's Jada Williams was the top individual finisher at the Five Star Conference Championship. Williams, who led the FPC girls to a third-place finish, completed the 5,000-meter course in 20:01.61 to win first place. In addition, Ayanna Fulton placed fourth with a time of 20:50.97.
- Former FPC star Jimmie Robinson had seven catches for 49 yards and three kick returns for 67 yards in Bethune-Cookman's 35-22 victory over Norfolk State on Saturday.
- Former FPC defensive star Nelson Paul saw playing time in Southern Methodist's 45-21 win over Temple on Saturday, recording one solo tackle against the Owls.
- Matanzas volleyball's season came to an end on Oct. 14 in the district tournament. The Pirates won six games this season.
