The Cowart Ranch and Farms is hosting its eighth-annual fall festival through Nov. 3, with farm-inspired activities, family entertainment and homemade smoked food.
While Saturday’s rain kept people away, Sunday had clear skies to welcome the community that lined up to enjoy the event throughout the day.
The Maze Dayz festival, created and organized by Brittany and her husband, Dalton Kinney, offers the opportunity to be outdoors and enjoy the farm lifestyle.
The $10 entrance fee event includes farm animals, home-grown heirloom pumpkins, pony, hayrides and train rides, inflatable bouncer, and a country store, to name a few.
This year, the five-acre life-size corn maze was created in honor of the late Charles Cowart or “Papa,” as Britany Kinney calls her grandfather. The cowboy themed maze included a boot, wagon wheel, cowboy hat, and his brand. Flagler Dodge was also cut into the maze as presenting sponsor.
The two upcoming weekends at the farm will have Halloween events, live music, and cowboy-style contests. The farm is located on 8185 W. State Road 100, Bunnell.
