Flagler Humane Society's Pets of the week for Feb. 26

Meet Nina, Leah, Peepers and Remmy, this week's featured adoptable pets from the Flagler Humane Society.

Three-month-old Nina is 15 pounds and is likely Catahoula Leopard dog and Chihuahua mix. She was found as a stray on Feb. 12 on State Road 100. Nina is a sweet, loving and playful puppy who does well with people and other dogs.

Nine-month-old Leah is a sweet female whole loves to play with the laser pointer. She was found as a stray last June in Bunnell. She is hesitant of new people but is learning to trust and is great with other cats and is litter trained.

Peepers, 1, is a female stray cat with beautiful green eyes. She can be timid with new people but enjoys playing with toys and watching birds and squirrels. She is good with other cats and is litter trained.

Remmy, 4, is a male Australian Kelpie mix who knows many commands, listens well and is house trained. Remmy was surrendered to the shelter last July when his previous owner died. He loves to run outside and play fetch, and would do well with an active owner.

The Flagler Humane Society is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 1 Shelter Drive in Palm Coast. Adoption fees vary based on the animal, and the shelter has both dogs and cats up for adoption.
