Judy Pipkin of Francis Lane has been recognized as the February 2024 Selection of the Month by The Garden Club at Palm Coast.

Originally from northern California, Pipkin, a real estate broker and property manager, moved to Palm Coast in November 2021. She enjoys gardening, she pulls her own weeds and does not use any pesticides.

Due to our very chilly weather lately, finding a curb appeal yard was a challenge. Her center island draws your immediate attention to her Meyers lemon tree full of lemons waiting to be harvested.

The color continues with lantanas, pink azaleas, firecracker, Mammy crotons, bird of paradise, Hawaiian Ti, bush daisies, Mexican petunias, and junipers.

The front walkway welcomes you to several foxtail ferns, Mammy crotons, pink azaleas, lantanas, variegated pittosporum, and a large firecracker. Along the front of the house are beautiful purple Princess flowers (Tibouchina urvilleana) and a candlestick plant which is a host for butterflies.

The Garden Club meets monthly on the second Monday of the month at 1:00 p.m. at its new location at Club 51 Social Club at 51 Old Kings Road, from September through May. The plant sale is open to the public 11:30-1:00 p.m.
