Santa Claus is coming to town for the fifth-annual Ormond Beach MainStreet “Christmas in July,” a locally powered shopping and dining event. Join us in the Historic Ormond Beach District — along Granada Boulevard from A1A to Orchard Street — on Saturday, July 23, from 10 am. to 5 p.m. Santa will be joined by Mrs. Claus for the very first time this year, spreading cheer at participating businesses from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Over 50 of Ormond’s most popular restaurants and shops will be offering incredible deals on yummy bites, summery sips and one-of-a-kind finds, all day long — several of our stops will even be featuring kids’ activities and crafts. Go on a scavenger hunt for the “Elf on the shelf” for a chance to win hundreds of dollars in gift cards at some of your favorite small businesses. Pick up a map at any participating businesses to help plan out your day.

Pink flamingos and balloons will help customers identify the retail stores and restaurants offering specials unique to their businesses. When you’re done shopping your heart out, be sure to take your receipt to Dunn’s Attic for a free mimosa, and a chance to find that perfect gift during their storewide sale. Head to Ormond Garage for a local festive brew, and check out Rose Villa’s Gingerbread-themed decor. Get your art fix and at brand new venues, Art Spotlight and The Studio by Artist Angel Lowden, as well as local favorites Ocean Art Gallery in Granada Plaza, and Frame of Mind in Historic Downtown.

Make your way beachside to the newly renovated Ormond Memorial Art Museum, where you can visit with local artists in the gift shop while the kiddos craft a yarn holiday project. You can catch a glimpse of Saint Nick as he hops on his coach and heads to Fountain Square Village where you’ll find story time with a local author, discounts at Joyologie, and some R&R at Bliss Wellness.

“This is an opportunity for everyone to get out and support local businesses during July, which is typically a slower month for many of them,” said Caroline Skinner, Ormond MainStreet’s Executive Director. “Events like these provide folks with something fun and memorable to do with the entire family, as well as an opportunity for business owners to connect with new customers. It has become another beloved MainStreet tradition.”
