The Palm Coast Business Assistance Center will launch a new Small Business Development Center Business Academy in early 2014.

“We’re excited to launch this program,” BAC Area Manager Joe Roy said in a news release. “It will provide solid training and education in a variety of areas. The idea is to boost the performance and competitiveness of our Flagler County companies.”

The 2014 Business Academy will have three segments: a $50 Business Management Series of five two-hour weekend sessions that will start in March and cover business planning, sales, marketing, lean operations and finance; free two-hour evening workshops that will begin in April and cover marketing, social media, business planning and finance; and special programs, such as Franklin Covey’s “Four Imperatives of Great Leaders” and “Four Disciplines of Execution,” Growth Wheel’s “Designing Your Business with a 360 View” and BAC’s “Lean Leadership Tools for Service Industries.”

To register, call the Palm Coast Business Assistance Center, at 986-2499.
