One dead in car wreck early Saturday morning

Michelle Hunter Roberts, 59, of Palm Coast, was killed early Saturday morning, in an car accident off Pine Grove Drive and Belle Terre Parkway.

Roberts was in the passenger seat of a 2003 Chevy Malibu driven by Richard Kelley, 38, of Texas. Kelley was driving south on Belle Terre Parkway when a Nissan Sentra, driven by Christopher Goodwin, was heading north.

Kelley made a left turn toward Pine Grove Drive and into the direct path of Goodwin's vehicle, which collided with the Malibu's right side.

All parties were wearing seatbelts. Kelley was taken to Florida Hospital Flagler with serious injuries. Goodwin had minor injuries.

Alcohol results on Kelley are pending.
