Drake gets dental designation

Dr. Daniel Drake, of Drs. Costello and Drake, at 1089 W. Granada Blvd., will be awarded mastership status in the International Congress of Oral Implantologists on Jan. 17, in New Orleans.

According to a statement from the ICOI, the organization encourages members to achieve mastership status through education, research and clinical experience. Those who earn the designation can list MICOI after their names. Visit icoi.org.

Mother and make make new real estate team

After earning his real estate license last month, Jonathan Gildon decided to join forces with his mother, Susan Moore, to start “The Moore Team” at Realty Pros Assured.

Moore, who has been a full-time realtor for 12 years, has been recognized with the “National Sales Awards” by The Realty Alliance. Gildon said that before earning his license he was a managing partner at The Furniture Deal.

“I’m really looking forward to this new career and have learned so much from her already,” Gildon said in a press release.

Gildon was born and raised in Ormond Beach and attended Seabreeze High School before double-majoring at Florida State University, in finance and real estate.

Jim Rose named chairman of Daytona chamber

Jim Rose, of the Rice & Rose Law Firm, of Daytona Beach, will serve as chairman of the Daytona Regional Chamber of Commerce for 2014. Rose, of Ormond Beach, practices in the area of real estate and probate law.
