Road Closure of John Anderson Drive at Neptune Avenue

John Anderson Drive at Neptune Avenue will be closed to through traffic for approximately two months while drainage improvements are being made to the intersection. Detours will be designated. For questions, contact the City of Ormond Beach Engineering Division, at 676-3269.

Florida Power and Light Tree Trimming

Florida Power and Light will be performing routine tree-trimming maintenance along rights-of-way within the city of Ormond Beach beginning in late January at selected streets. The work will occur Monday through Friday between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 5 p.m.

Arbor Day to be observed in Ormond Beach

A live oak tree will be planted in celebration of Arbor Day at Central Park II, 601 Hammock Lane, at 10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 17. A proclamation will be read by Mayor Ed Kelly and the speaker will be Paul MacDonald, city landscape architect. Call Michael Demchak, community events coordinator, at 676-3241.
