The former World Color building will finally be filled. The building off U.S. 1 was recently bought by WKL Roofing LLC.

The Daytona Beach business is family-owned and in its third generation. WKL stands for Walter and Kenneth Lewis, a father and son who, with their wives Susan and Brenna, own and operate the company.

“We are really grateful to all our customers, vendors and fellow contractors, especially over the last few years, for their business and their referrals,” said Walter Lewis in a press release. “It is because of them that we have been blessed with this new opportunity."

The building will get a complete overhaul by the time it opens early next summer. Located at 1281 N. U.S. 1, WKL’s new location will allow customers to discuss types of roofing systems, schedule color consultations, learn about gutter installation and see displays on sun tunnels, roofing-stain-prevention products and more.

Carl Lentz, director of commercial sales and leasing at Realty Pros Assured, facilitated the transaction.
