Two Palm Coast men were arrested Saturday in connection with a St. John’s County pharmacy robbery, as well as a late-night burglary of a pharmacy in Palm Coast.

Daniel Garrett Lindsey, 29, and Matthew Dalton Barker, 27, were taken into custody without incident. St. John’s County arrest warrants charged the two in connection with an armed robbery of a CVS pharmacy, at 3690 U.S. 1, in St. Augustine, which took place about 9 a.m. Saturday.

Following their arrests, the two subjects were brought to the Investigative Services Division offices and questioned regarding the burglary of the Palm Coast Pharmacy, at 9 Pine Cone Drive, in Palm Coast.

Deputies responded to the Palm Coast Pharmacy burglary, at 1:15 a.m. Saturday after a passerby noticed that the glass in the front door of the business was broken out. In their investigation, deputies learned that two subjects burglarized the pharmacy around 11 p.m. Friday night, several hours before the robbery of the CVS pharmacy in St. John’s County.

Detectives will be adding charges against Lindsey and Barker in connection with the burglary in the coming days.

“This was a tremendous cooperative effort between both agencies that has resulted in the arrest of two individuals who may have eventually hurt someone had they not been caught as quickly as they were,” said Sheriff James L. Manfre.

Following questioning, Lindsey and Barker were brought to the Flagler County Detention
Facility where they were booked on the St. John’s County warrants of robbery with a firearm.

Both have been since taken to the St. John’s County jail, where they are being held on $250,000.
