Blue at the Topaz closes

Blue at the Topaz, a seafood restaurant on Oceanshore Boulevard in Flagler Beach, has closed, according to an email from owner Kelli O'Reilly.

"I'm deeply saddened to inform everyone that Sunday was our last day in business," she wrote. "Although we just celebrated our 12-year anniversary, we have been unable to sustain the rising cost to operating a restaurant. We sincerely appreciate everyone's patronage over the years, as many of you have become friends. I look forward to seeing you as I start the next chapter of my life in Flagler County.
