Art League to host First Thursday poetry open mics
Starting 7-9 p.m. Oct. 3, the Flagler County Art League’s workshop gallery will host First Thursday Open Mics sponsored by Tomoka Poets, the Ormond Beach division of the Florida State Poets Association.

“Because we have a number of members from the Palm Coast area, this will be an addition to our regular Open Mic programs which take place the third Tuesday of each month in Port Orange,” Tomoka Poets President Mary-Ann Westbrook said.

Whether you have your own poetry to recite, or you would like to recite the work of a favorite poet, or just want to come and listen and have a cup of coffee, the Tomoka Poets invite members of the public to participate. These open mics reflect the Art League’s goal to help expedite growth of all the arts in Palm Coast.

Around Town…

Flagler Palm Coast High School graduate Danielle Zirkelbach will have a solo art show at the Wyland Oceanfront Gallery, in Kallua-Kona, Hawaii.
