The changes to PC Parkway Plaza, near Kohl’s, were unanimously approved during Tuesday’s City Council meeting, making way for three more commercial stores to eventually go vertical on the west side of Palm Coast.

The re-platting splits the one lot into three lots, and two of those parcels are expected to be the future homes of McDonald’s and Verizon.

City Councilman Jason DeLorenzo said in January that those two stores are scheduled to go vertical in the plaza. McDonald’s currently has three other stores throughout Palm Coast.

The Verizon store is anticipated to be a corporate store next to the AutoZone, which is just north of the Kohl’s.

Ray Tyner, planning manager for the city, confirmed Tuesday that both McDonald’s and Verizon have submitted site plans for the plaza.

The plaza is located in front of the Kohl’s, along Belle Terre Parkway.
