Two Palm Coast men were arrested Tuesday morning after an investigation by the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office served a search warrant at a Z-section home.

Investigators with the Special Investigations Unit served the warrant around 11 a.m. at 3 Zoeller Court. The search warrant was obtained following an investigation into the possession of a stolen firearm by an occupant of the home.

During their search, investigators found a loaded Arms Cop 38 special revolver under the couch in the living room. The firearm had been reported stolen on Oct. 3 from a home in the F-section.

Investigators arrested Michael Shawn McRoberts Jr., 17, of 3 Zoeller Court, and charged him with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, dealing in stolen property (firearm), and violation of probation.

Also arrested was Kenneth James Kirsch Jr., 20, of 431 Underwood Trail. He was charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and dealing in stolen property (firearm).

Kirsch has been arrested 10 times since January 2010, according to the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office’s website. He was transported to the Flagler County Inmate Facility and is being held on $15,000 bond as of Wednesday morning.

McRoberts was transported to the Department of Juvenile Justice Facility in Daytona Beach where he was being held.
