Annual Creekside Festival strums into Flagler Oct. 12-13

Held under the majestic oaks of Princess Place Preserve, the Creekside Festival is an annual tradition that celebrates the natural beauty of Northeast Florida with live bluegrass music, food, arts and craft vendors and family friendly activities.

Visitors can explore the preserve’s many hiking trails, fish in salt marshes along the Matanzas River and Pellicer Creek, tour the historic hunting lodge or camp out under the stars. The best way to enjoy Creekside Festival is to arrive early and leave late. And, with seven bluegrass bands scheduled over both days, you’ll want stay a while, so pack lawn chairs or a blanket. Here’s the entertainment schedule:

This year, the Creekside Festival will have a kids' zone and the Flagler Home Builders Association’s Home EXPO.

The Creekside Festival will be open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 12, and Sunday, Oct. 13. Admission is $5 per carload or $3 with advance purchase from the Flagler County Chamber. Visit www.flaglerchamber.org or call 437-0106 for more information.
