The fourth suspect charged in connection with a shooting in Palm Coast surrendered himself Thursday night to officials at the Department of Juvenile Justice facility in Daytona Beach, deputies said Friday.

An arrest warrant had been issued for Raymond M. Spencer, 16, of Palm Coast, in the days following the Nov. 4 shooting of 19-year-old Trevor Blumenfeld.

Spencer has been charged with principal to aggravated battery with a deadly weapon. He is currently being held at the facility as he awaits a court hearing.

Blumenfeld remains in critical but stable condition, according to Cmdr. Bob Weber, public information officer for the Flagler County Sheriff's Office.

"He is off the respirator but still has a trachea," Weber said in an email. "He is off heavy sedation and is provided pain medication as needed."
