“We treat our customers like a person, not a dollar bill,” he said. “We believe that if you take care of your customers, and build a strong, satisfied customer base, then the business will continue to grow and flourish.”
Wow factor
Rutland said that customer service emphasis sets Flagler Collision apart. “We here at Flagler Collision Center believe in helping people. As long as you take care of your customers, you will always have business,” he said. The center tries to make things easy, offering customers rides and helping them find towing services and rental cars, if needed. “Our goal, is to create a satisfied, happy customer and in this process, our relationship with them will create future customers,” Rutland said.
Words to live by
Flagler Collision works on cars, Rutland said, but satisfied customers are also part of the center’s final product. “If you build a stable customer base, the dollars will follow,” he said. “Put yourself in their shoes and feel their needs, then handle them accordingly. Your completed product is more than just the product you give, it’s also the customer.”
