+ SERVPRO doubles in size
SERVPRO is now open at a new location at 1 Enterprise Drive, Suite 4, in Bunnell.

The new office, which is twice the size of the former one, also includes an attached warehouse to store equipment and restoration chemicals, as well as an area to store customers’ personal items, such as carpets and upholstered furniture while being restored.

“We moved to expand our staff, increase our visibility to our customers and future customers, and have a more central location that gives the community convenient access to our storefront,” said Michael Lilly, owner of the Flagler County location.

SERVPRO, which recently placed in the Top 10 of Entrepreneur magazine’s Franchise 500 rankings for the third year in a row, opened in Flagler in 2005. The business employs 12 full- and part-time staff members and specializes in the cleanup and restoration of properties after fire, smoke or water damage.

+ Curves hosts sale to fight cancer
Curves will be selling used items outside its office Wednesday to raise money for the American Cancer Society’s 2013 Relay for Life fundraiser. The business set a $2,500 fundraising goal.

Curves will sell four paperback books for a $1 donation to the American Cancer Society, three hardcover books for a $5 donation, DVDs for a $1 donation and CDs for a 50 cents.

The sale is at 160 Cypress Point Parkway, Suite D109.

+ Moo Doo fights domestic violence
Moo Doo Academy of Martial Arts LLC participated March 9 in the Walk-A-Thon against Domestic Violence held by the Precious Hearts Foundation Inc., the DIVAS Club and the T-Club Teens.

During the event, Moo Doo Academy hosted a break-a-board fundraiser, where People were able to break a pine board in exchange for a donation.
