UPDATED at 5:30 p.m. THURSDAY
A man wearing an Iron Man mask robbed the Wells Fargo in Town Center just after 4 p.m. Thursday, according to the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office.

The man was described as a black male, about 5 feet, 4 inches, thin build, wearing a tan jumpsuit with tan boots and gloves. The suspected robber displayed a handgun during the robbery, according to Lt. Bob Weber, of the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office.

Flagler County’s FireFlight searched the area via the air with negative results. Weber said the suspected robber fled the bank and went north on Belle Terre Parkway in a maroon car — either a Nissan or a Honda.

The robber had an undetermined amount of cash, Weber said.

The FBI was en route to the scene of the robbery around 5:20 p.m. to conduct an investigation, Weber said.
