Brave-Aid hits the road for veterans
Brave-Aid, Inc., a 501C3 Wounded Veterans Assistance Fund operated by volunteers in Flagler and Volusia Counties, is going mobile, driven by its mission to bring financial assistance to those soldiers returning home each month from duty in Iraq and Afghanistan and veterans of conflicts dating back to WWII.

A Vet-Mobile special trailer, emblazoned with patriotic art, is visiting cities and communities, malls, veterans’ parks and special events throughout Flagler and beyond, beginning in Flagler Beach through July 6. July 4th, 5th and 6th.

“Our hope is to create widespread awareness of our heroes’ plight and to help raise funds to assist these brave men and women and their families, through the resale of military items such as service-related caps, patches, pins, plaques, military art and novelties,” said Charles W. Hanger, president of Brave-Aid, Inc.
