Chamber installs new board, officers at annual banquet event

The Ormond Beach Chamber of Commerce welcomed in a slew of new officers at its annual installation banquet, last weekend.

Big changes for the Ormond Beach Chamber of Commerce last weekend.

At the chamber’s annual installation banquet Friday, Jan. 25, in Daytona Beach, awards were given out and new officers were inducted.

New officers include President Dan Warren, of the Council on Aging; President Elect/Vice President of Economic Prosperity Chris Butera, NAI Realvest; Treasurer Rachael Gilbert, PNC Bank; Vice President of Community Programs Trace Payne-Jelenic, Hampton Inn; Vice President of Community Events Bill Navarra, Realty Pros Assured; and Executive Director Tony Capozzi, Ormond Beach Chamber.

Serving as 2013 Ormond Beach Chamber of Commerce board members are Dwight Durant, Zev Cohen & Associates; Bill Hayes, ACNS; Ali Kargar, ICI Homes; Skip Keating, Associate Member; David Pizzo, Community Promotional Services; Mandy Rossmeyer Campbell, Destination Daytona; Gary Shepperd, Carefree Catering; Julia Truilo, Ormond Beach MainStreet; Kathryn D. Weston, Cobb Cole; and John Walsh, Ormond Beach Observer.

Awards recipients are also listed as follows:

Outstanding New Member Award: Caryn Baker

Overall Continuous Support Award: Billie Jo Kaler, Charlene Girard

Overall Contributions Through Sponsorship Participation Award: Bill Navarra, Realty Pros Assured

Outgoing Board Member Award: Bobbi Coleman, Lisa Mardak, Patrick Opalewski

Ambassador of the Year: Riff Fernberg
