Every year around this time, people reflect back, and we're no different here at the paper. As we scan through the sports coverage over the past 12 months, here are some of the most memorable quotes from players and coaches in Ormond Beach sports.
FEBRUARY
“I knew that I could help my team win. So, I looked at the clock, it was 42-40, and I knew that if I made these two free throws, we win. I get a ring. We get a championship, a state championship. … So I just went up there and made my free throws.”
