Man arrested after trailer burns

A trailer burned down Aug. 7, at 1070 Southern Parkway, but that isn't the end of the story.

The resident of the trailer, Sammy "Bones" Boen, disobeyed several commands by Ormond Beach Fire Department personnel to stay out of the trailer as they were wrapping up their investigation. Boen was arrested and charged with disorderly intoxication and resisting without violence after he knocked his neighbor’s mailbox off its post and ran away from authorities.

An officer said that Boen attempted to kick him in the face after being placed in the police car.

The subject can be seen on the victim’s patio attempting to force open windows and a sliding glass door while the victim inside watched television. The suspect did not gain entry and left the area, but only after spending nearly half an hour trying.
