A Sunday evening crash left three Bunnell residents in the hospital, one with serious injuries and the other two with minor ones.

Allyson D. Bennett, 32, was driving west on State Road 100 around 7:30 p.m., according to the Florida Highway Patrol. A 4-year-old child was riding with her.

At the same time, Anthony A. McKay, 32, was traveling eastbound on the same road. Bennett attempted to turn left onto County Road 302, at which point McKay’s pick-up truck collided with her Lexus.

McKay’s truck rolled over, coming to final rest on its roof in the eastbound lane of State Road 100, facing south. Bennett’s car came to final rest in the grassy area south of State Road 100, facing southwest.

McKay was taken to Florida Hospital Flagler with serious injuries. Bennett and her passenger were also taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

Bennett “violated the right of way of oncoming traffic,” according to a release from the Florida Highway Patrol. Alcohol was not involved, the release says. Charges are pending.
