+Carrabba’s to hire 80 employees
Carrabba’s Italian Grill set a tentative opening date for its new Palm Coast location for Dec. 3. Before that happens, the restaurant will need to fill 80 open position for cooks, servers, hosts, dishwashers, bartenders and maintenance personnel.

“We’re definitely going to be hiring people pretty aggressively,” said Michael Xifaris, the owner of the store.

The restaurant is aiming for $4 million in annual sales once it opens, Xifaris said.

“I think we’re going to do well here,” he said. “In Florida, we tend to meet our goals very well.”

The Palm Coast Carrabba’s will be the franchise’s 64th location in Florida, and the 234th nationwide.

The restaurant hopes to start its training Nov. 26, and aims to do the bulk of its hiring before then.

To expedite the process, Carrabba’s opened a hiring center at 260 Cypress Edge Drive Suit 115, where people can apply for positions from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily. People can also submit applications online at www.BloominBrandsCareers.com/Carrabbas using restaurant number 76064.
