In anticipation of increased traffic during Biketoberfest, Votran scheduling will be changed over the weekend.

The Volusia County transportation system, Votran, initiated changes to some of its bus routes today, in anticipation of traffic increases due to Biketoberfest. Changes will last through Saturday, Oct. 20.
A breakdown of the detours are listed as follows:
Daytime Routes
n Route 1: Outbound: Left on Bethune Boulevard, right on U.S. 1, right on Mason Avenue to Oakridge Boulevard, left on Halifax Avenue, right on University Avenue, left on State Road A1A. Reverse on inbound trip.
n Route 8: Regular service, except it will remain on Halifax Avenue and will not go into the Intermodal Transfer Facility (ITF).
n Route 11: Outbound: Left on Dr. Mary McLeod Bethune Boulevard, right on U.S. 1, right on Fairview Avenue, left on Beach Street. Reverse on inbound trip.
n Route 17A/B: Will use International Speedway Boulevard instead of Main Street on all outbound trips.
n Route 18: Outbound: Left on Dr. Mary McLeod Bethune Boulevard, right on U.S. 1, left on Fairview Avenue to George Engram Boulevard, left on White Street. Inbound: Right on University Avenue from A1A, left on Halifax Avenue, right on Seabreeze Boulevard to Mason Avenue, left on U.S. 1, left on Dr. Mary McLeod Bethune Boulevard to the Transfer Plaza.
n Route 19: Outbound: From Transfer Plaza, left on Dr. Mary McLeod Bethune Boulevard, right on U.S. 1, right on Mason Avenue to Oakridge Boulevard, left on Halifax Avenue, right on University Boulevard, left on A1A. Inbound: Left on White Street, right on George Engram Boulevard, right on U.S. 1, left on Dr. Mary McLeod Bethune Boulevard.
n Route 60: Outbound: Left on Dr. Mary McLeod Bethune Boulevard, right on U.S. 1, left on Fairview Avenue to George Engram Boulevard, left on White Street. Inbound: Left on White Street, right on George Engram Boulevard, right on U.S. 1, left on Dr. Mary McLeod Bethune Boulevard.
Night service
n Route 1: Outbound: Left on Dr. Mary McLeod Bethune Boulevard, right on U.S. 1, right on Mason Avenue to Oakridge Boulevard, left on A1A. Reverse on the inbound trip.
n Route 3: Outbound: Left on Dr. Mary McLeod Bethune Boulevard, right U.S. 1. Reverse on the inbound trip.
n Route 4: Outbound: Right on Dr. Mary McLeod Bethune Boulevard, left on Beach Street, West on Fairview Avenue, left on U.S. 1. Reverse routing on the inbound trip.
n Route 10: Outbound: Right on Dr. Mary McLeod Bethune Boulevard, left on Beach Street, West on Fairview Avenue. Reverse routing on the inbound trip.
n Route 15: Outbound: Right on Palmetto left on Bay Street, right on Beach Street, to regular routing.Reverse routing on the inbound trip.
n Route 17: Outbound: Right on Palmetto, left on International Speedway Boulevard right on A1A. Reverse routing on the inbound trip.
All buses departing or arriving at the Transfer Plaza southbound will use Palmetto Avenue and Bay Street to Beach Street. Night service will start and end at the Transfer Plaza
