A signature golf course designed by Jack Nicklaus and Tom Watson, a water park with a lazy river and a spa are just some of the amenities offered at the Hammock Beach Resort, in The Hammock.

“Our main goal is always customer satisfaction,” said Kelli Robinson, public relations manager. “We pride ourselves on being a AAA four-diamond resort, but we don’t want to give the impression that we are so fancy you can’t have a good time.”

The suite-style rooms of the resort encourage family vacations.

“We attract families because of our units,” Robinson said. “They’re not traditional hotel rooms but suites with a kitchenette, living area. Multi-room units makes it easy for families to vacation together — grandparents, parents and young children in a suite instead of a series of hotel rooms.”

Parents wanting some time to themselves can sign the children up for the Kids Crew program for an extra fee. Age-appropriate activities and a meal are included.

The resort boasts two quality restaurants: Delfinos, a fine dining restaurant for guests and members, and the Atlantic Grille, for a casual dining experience and open to the public.

The resort has a variety of community-based events throughout the year, including a Flagler Family Promise golf ball drop, in September, and the Flagler County Special Olympics golf tournament, in May.

“We are involved in the community,” Robinson said. “We try to give back because we love Flagler and we want to do as much as possible for our community.”
