Austin Outdoor redesigns Bunnell church courtyard

For its most recent service project this spring, Austin Outdoor enhanced the landscape of the prayer garden at First United Methodist Church of Bunnell.

Twenty-five Austin employees used donations from local vendors — Florida Irrigation Supply, Environmental Land Services, Verdego Nursery, Stone Plus, Gospel Gardens, Slingerlands Nursery, Ace Hardware Palm Coast, Palm Coast Signs and Triple O Nursery — to renovate the garden. They added red coquina sand, plants and mulched islands in the sitting area. They also posted signs displaying Bible verses.

The First United Methodist Church opens its doors daily to the homeless, distributes food to the needy, hosts free community dinners and provides overnight shelter to the homeless in the winter.
