Garcia accepted to Stetson

Flagler Palm Coast High School student Frankie Garcia recently got accepted to the Stetson University School of Music. The U.S. Army All-American Marching Band member auditioned in November and has been anxiously awaiting his letter.

When it came last week, he read the first two lines, put on a sad face and handed it to his mother.

“I read the first two sentences and screamed,” his mother, Rebecca O’Shane, said. “He was accepted and that little boy tricked me.”
