+ Flagler Pines announces ‘zero deficiency’ designation
In Flagler Pines’ annual state inspection, which reviews federal guidelines for residents over the course of four days, the facility was deemed to have zero deficiencies. Surveyors reviewed all aspects of the facility, from how nurses dispense medication to clinical wound treatments.
As of 2011, only 9.3% of all like facilities nationwide had such a designation, according to officials.

+ State Farm opens branch on Palm Coast Parkway
The Flagler County Chamber of Commerce & Affiliates held a ribbon-cutting March 9, for Anthony Lopez State Farm Insurance, at 1475 Palm Coast Parkway. Call 407-770-7238.
