Palm Coast is now accepting applications from qualified buyers for the Neighborhood Stabilization Program — a program designed to provide financial assistance for prospective homebuyers.

Working with local government partners through the program, Palm Coast is searching for applicants who would like to:

— Purchase a local foreclosed or distressed home
—  Possibly receive up to $45,000 for assistance to purchase and renovate the selected home

The city will hold an informational meeting 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 13, at the Flagler County Association of Realtors, 4101 E. Moody Blvd.

The Neighborhood Stabilization Program began in 2008 when the city was initially allotted $2.6 million. It is a federally funded program initiative and can provide prospective homebuyers with up to 20%, or $30,000, toward the downpayment or closing costs.

Application information is also available on the city’s website at www.PalmCoastGov.com. Call 863-937-9035 for more information.
