+ Selis: Charlotte Brayer Public Service Award
Chiumento Selis Dwyer P.L. has announced that the Elder Law Section of the Florida Bar has recognized Scott Selis with its annual Charlotte Brayer Public Service Award.

Selis was chosen because of his efforts as legislative chair of the Florida Bar Elder Law Section, and for “keeping the issues affecting Florida’s elderly and disabled in front of the public and the Legislature.”

+ DeLorenzo receives management training
Flagler County Chamber of Commerce & Affiliates Executive Vice President Rebecca DeLorenzo recently graduated from the Institute for Organization Management, the national chamber’s four-year professional development program.

+ Hospital hires new wound care and registered nurses
Florida Hospital Flagler has selected Tina Justice, a three-year company worker, to serve as its new wound care nurse, to work with patients with bowel or urinary issues, draining and healing wounds and altered skin integrity.

The hospital also appointed Elizabeth Lovell, a board-certified women’s health nurse and advanced registered nurse practitioner, to its gynecological staff.

In other news, the hospital’s cardiopulmonary laboratory was designated by the Accreditation Committee of the College of American Pathologists, following an onsite inspection.

The CAP Laboratory Accreditation Program is recognized by the federal government as being equal to or more stringent than the government’s own inspection program.
