Georgia Turner announced this week in her monthly newsletter, “On my mind …,” that two tourism professionals have been hired to the Flagler County Chamber of Commerce’s Tourism Development wing.

Replacing Jaffy Lee and Laura Gamba, who resigned from their positions late last year, both new employees are county residents.

Jeanine Volpe was hired as the chamber’s new Tourism Administrative Assistant. A resident since 1997, Volpe formerly worked as a travel agent.

Amy Lukasik, who will start Jan. 9, was hired as Tourism Marketing Manager. She previously worked for Bluegreen Corporation, as a marketing coordinator/concierge at World Golf Village.
