Palm Coast is a great community to live in. Here at the Palm Coast Observer, we believe in “You. Your Neighbors. Your Neighborhood.”

The Observer’s first Neighborhood Block Party will be hosted by Carmella’s Pizza in City Marketplace.

We wish we came up with this idea of creating a sense of community monthly, but we didn’t. Decades ago, ITT hosted block parties that brought the community together. Residents brought families, lawn chairs and a few bucks to enjoy a night with their fellow neighbors. Cars would line up on all sides of the roads to enjoy the party.

Join the Palm Coast Observer to help reignite that kind of community atmosphere.

From 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 23, stop by Carmella’s. There will be $1 beers, $1 wines, $2 pizza slices and $1 orders of garlic knots. There will also be tables and tents with other supporting businesses including Mia Bella Dance Academy, Curves, Hollingsworth Gallery, Spa Floridian and Salon, Palm Coast Ford, Beach 92.7 and the Leather Lab.
