A 17-year-old bicyclist was listed in critical condition Thursday night after he was struck crossing the entrance ramp to northbound Interstate 95 near Palm Coast Parkway, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

Kyle Forgie, of Palm Coast, was in the marked crosswalk traveling in an easterly direction when an unknown blue Dodge pickup for SUV struck him and fled the scene around 6:10 p.m. Thursday, the report states.

The hit-and-run vehicle was traveling from westbound Palm Coast Parkway and entered the ramp to I95.

Forgie was transported to Halifax Medical Center via a medical helicopter and remains there in critical but stable condition, according to troopers.
