+ Two Internet cafes close in Palm Coast
According to Jay Maher, city business receipt supervisor, two Internet cafes in Palm Coast have closed since the city adopted its electronic game promotion application process to further regulate virtual gambling establishments.

The application process includes restrictions put in place by the Palm Coast City Council in April.

Of nine grandfathered locations, Copacabana, located at 1000 Palm Coast Parkway, and EZ Café LLC, at 1755 Palm Harbor Parkway, have closed.

Palm Coast Internet Café, located at 160 Cypress Point Parkway, and Sunny Day Internet Café, at 15 Cypress Branch Way, have not yet submitted evaluation reports and deficiency letters have been sent to the operators of both locations.

An evaluation submitted by Lucky Day Internet Café, located at 108 Flagler Plaza Drive, shows that its software utilizes a random number generator that is in violation of city ordinances. A deficiency letter has also been sent to that company.
