As the sun set Wednesday, April 4, the Flagler County Fairgrounds illuminated with the multicolored lights of carnival rides. Screams of excitement pierced the air, and the smell of fried dough wafted from vendor stands, at the Flagler County Fair and Youth Show.

The fair puts Florida’s rich agricultural heritage on display and allows youth involved in the 4-H and Future Farmers of America to exhibit crops and livestock.

Saturday, April 7, is family day, with performances by local dance groups. An Easter egg hunt will be 1:30 p.m. on the last day, Sunday, April 8. See www.PalmCoastObserver.com for more.
