Paige Makrwski and Brian Dewald, of Palm Coast, married March 25, at the White Room, in St. Augustine.

The newlyweds met through a friend shortly after Paige moved to Palm Coast from Illinois.

He proposed three-and-a-half years later while celebrating Valentine’s Day.
