+ Beware of Better Business Bureau email scam
The FBI recently posted a notice on its news blog warning residents of a virus-containing email campaign fraudulently claiming to be from the Better Business Bureau.

The emails claim to contain customer grievances, which recipients must click an embedded link in order to read. On clicking the link, a virus is downloaded, which hacks into recipients’ personal and financial information.

One victim of the scam, the FBI reports, lost nearly $100,000. If recipients have already clicked the link, they are advised to run a full virus scan immediately.
