Stephanie Presley and her husband, Ray, were among the thousands who participated in the Sept. 11 memorial motorcycle ride that began at the Flagler County Courthouse and stretched 11 miles.

Presley said she first got into riding by taking the Easy Rider training at Flagler Palm Coast High School. “I always loved the look of women on bikes,” she wrote via email.

She said riding bikes has helped her build common ground with customers in her real estate business, Take Action Properties LLC. Her business partner is Patty Christman.

“Women riders are respected,” Presley said. “It is a great way to talk to people, too. People like to do business with Realtors who are active in the community.”

In her experience, bikers form a great brother/sisterhood and do a lot of good.

“The bikers in this community should be welcomed and recognized,” Presley said. “Bikers are very quick to gather and donate for a cause. This event brought not only respect to our fallen, but economic benefit to our community.”
